STATEMENT

As a Surrealist I work using straighforward photography, and also work using a combination of visual ideas based on subconscious, dreamlike, visionary inspiration and instinctive captures.

Because I worked as a painter to begin with, I have an artist’s way of thinking about images; Composition is very important to me, and what lies between the edges of the frame. I work both in colour, and in black and white, using digital and film cameras.

My imagery is a combination of straightforward photographs and digital art, the latter created using my own photos from my files.
